Imaging Group to Distribute World’s Fastest Inkjet Printer from
Seiko I Infotech Inc.

Mesa, CA---February 12, 2003-Paradigm Imaging Group, a leading
provider of large format scanning and document management solutions,
announces their agreement with Seiko I Infotech of Japan to
distribute the new IP-4500Mk-II/4010Mk-II series of inkjet printers.
These high speed, oil-based pigment ink, wide format printers are
the fastest printers in their class on the market today, setting a
new standard in inkjet printing.
Seiko I
Infotech Inc. a developer and manufacturer of computer peripherals
and their supplies has developed a new advanced series of printers
to provide superior printing quality with enhanced printer head
color profiles for vivid color using more types of media.
Additionally, it takes less time to print out in the high-quality
mode. Printer head movement is 200% faster than before. Oil based
pigments are lightfast, water resistant, allowing unprecedented
high-speed printing.

elements include:

Clean,
fast drying ink - Oil based pigment with very little odor is
used as ink material. Ventilation equipment is not required. Oil
based inks also produce printed images that can be hung
immediately, allowing continuous high volume printing. Unlike
water-based inks that can produce paper distortion in areas of
100% ink density the oil based ink avoids problem altogether
allowing faster lamination time if required.

x 720dpi "Real" resolution and various printing modes
- Prints at real 720dpi for graphic art quality printing, with
further enhancements if 8-pass mode is used with no speed loss.
Variety of modes useful for range of applications including CAD,
GIS, reprographics and indoor & outdoor signage

based pigment-enabled weatherability - allows unlaminated
adhesive vinyl prints to be displayed outdoors for up to one
year. High-quality output makes the series ideal for
applications like billboards and banners.

with Onyx RIP Center - Leading, high performance RIP. Onyx
incorporates graphic creation environment that enables tiling,
copying, scaling, and cutting.

- Simple panel operation. High capacity 500ml cartridges
minimize down time due to shortage of ink during printing.
Cartridges easily replaceable through one touch operation.
Loading new media is quick and easy.
